nautilus-gtkhash software package provides nautilus extension for computing checksums and more using gtkhash, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nautilus-gtkhash
nautilus-gtkhash is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nautilus-gtkhash package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nautilus-gtkhash *
You will get with nautilus-gtkhash package name, version, architecture and description in a table
